2007-2008.  Developed software requirements specification for integrated library system to be developed on open source platform such as Evergreen. Currently assisting KCLS with other activities related to their transition to an open source library system.

2005-2008.  Assisted with the implementation of the Gates Foundation’s Public Access Computer Hardware Upgrade Grant for the California State Library. Duties included assisting libraries eligible to receive funds to fill out paperwork, assisting State Library personnel in completing grant applications forms and planning the distribution of grant funds.

2008-current. Conducted materials handling and collection management analysis. Provided recommendations related to interlibrary delivery, sorting, materials processing, and alternative ways of connecting customers with library material. Currently assisting MCL with planning and implementation of recommendations.

2007-current.  Ongoing engagement with library to support IT team and to assist with facility remodel projects. Contract began with evaluation of interlibrary delivery services.

2007-2008.  Managed Home Delivery Pilot project, a project funded by an LSTA grant to evaluate the cost and benefits of providing home delivery for library materials. Project was cancelled due to integration issues with integrated library system.

2006-2008. Contract began with evaluation of delivery service in the context of other services provided to METRO members. Analyzed costs associated with providing delivery and alternative approaches to improving service. Continued engagement to help METRO maintain excellent delivery service.

2004-2007.  Configured desktops for public use including setting up security, installing and configuring applications and establishing backup and cloning system. Providing ongoing support as needed.
