The Galecia Group has expertise in five key Focus Areas: RFID, Automated Materials Handling, Workflow Optimization, Digital Skills Consulting, and Civic Technology Leadership.

Galecia Group Principal, Lori Ayre, is recognized by libraries and vendors alike as the de facto authority on the library RFID and automated materials handling market. Lori's services include RFID and AMH analysis and procurement, as well as working with libraries on workflow optimization without the technology component. Consultations often include assessing the physical delivery of material, technology adoption and change management, technology planning and master planning. Many of her projects have her working with architects or municipalities on large library building projects.

The Galecia Group's Jim Craner has been helping community, nonprofit, and government organizations implement technology solutions for over 15 years. His duties include strategic technology consulting, project management, and website and application development — with a focus on community and civic technology, open data, GIS/online mapping, and digital skills development.

The Focus Area pages provide a little background about each topic and summarize some of the projects we've done in each area.

To get you up to speed on the most current developments in each Focus Area, we've also pulled in relevant blog posts on that topic.
